In Victoria the legal minimum tread depth is 1.5 mm across the tread face, and a tyre with cord showing, a bulge, or a sidewall cut is an instant roadworthy failure. In practice, wet grip falls away sharply below about 3 mm, so we recommend planning a replacement at 3 mm rather than waiting for the wear indicators.

Yes. HiAce, Transit, Transporter, Sprinter, Master, Hiace-based motorhomes, plus utes and single-cab trays. Light commercial tyres carry an LT or C rating with a higher load index and stiffer construction — we fit to your vehicle placard so the tyre is rated for the weight you actually carry.

Yes, and we fit plenty of them. All-terrains give you gravel and dirt capability at the cost of some road noise and a little fuel economy; highway-terrains stay quieter and last longer if the car mostly sees bitumen. We'll also check guard and suspension clearance if you're going up a size, since oversized tyres can affect your speedo reading and, past a point, your roadworthy.

We recommend it. Fitting new tyres to a car that's out of alignment means scrubbing the tread off the new set within months. We check alignment as part of any tyre fitment and tell you if it's out — camber, caster and toe are then set back to manufacturer spec on our alignment gear.

Often, yes. A clean puncture in the central tread area, under 6 mm, can be properly plug-and-patch repaired from inside the tyre. Sidewall damage, shoulder punctures, or a tyre that's been driven on flat can't be safely repaired — we'll show you the damage and tell you honestly which category it falls into.

A set of four with balancing is usually 45–60 minutes. Add a wheel alignment and allow around 90 minutes. Call ahead with your tyre size and we can have the stock ready when you arrive.
