Our story
How ASL started
The workshop was founded in 2023 by Sai Seewooruttun, who spent 15+ years working across independent workshops and dealership service departments before opening his own shop.
The plan was straightforward: run a workshop where the diagnosis is honest, the work is done properly the first time, and customers actually understand what's happening to their car. That's still how we operate.
What we do
We work on all makes & models
If it's a car or light commercial, we can usually look at it. Logbook servicing won't void your new-car warranty — we use the right parts and fluids, and stamp the book.

Mechanical Repairs
Brakes, clutch, suspension, cooling, exhaust, timing belts. Diagnose first, quote before we start.
Roadworthy & Inspections
Licensed Victorian Vehicle Tester. RWCs, pre-purchase inspections, safety checks, fleet compliance.
Diagnostics
Current scan tools and manufacturer software. We find the fault before swapping parts.
Brakes & Driveline
Pads, rotors, calipers, hydraulics. Clutches, transmissions, differentials — repair where we can, replace only when past it.
Auto Electrical
Batteries, alternators, wiring, ECU coding, BMS registration. Modern vehicles need modern tools.
The workshop

6 Garden Drive, Tullamarine. The workshop is fully kitted with current diagnostic gear, scan tools and manufacturer software — which matters when you're working on modern vehicles with locked-down electronics.
We're a short drive from the airport, Westmeadows, Gladstone Park and Broadmeadows, and most of our work comes from repeat customers and referrals. We're VACC accredited and a licensed Victorian Vehicle Tester, so any roadworthy we issue is signed off properly.
Every job comes with a 12-month warranty on parts and labour, and we accept Afterpay, Zip and Humm if you'd rather split the cost.
